Pakistan 'to free Indian pilot on Friday'
Pakistan shot down the jet as tensions rose with India over the disputed region of Kashmir
Pakistan's Prime Minister says the country will release a captured Indian pilot as a "peace gesture". Pakistan shot down the pilot's jet as tensions rose with India over the disputed region of Kashmir. On Tuesday, India struck what it said was a militant camp in Pakistan in retaliation for a suicide bombing that killed at least 40 Indian troops in Kashmir. We speak to colleagues from BBC Hindi and Urdu.
And we hear from student reporters who took part in the “Since Parkland” project. They are among 200 young journalists who wrote obituaries of 1200 young gunshot victims in the US. They want to "reveal the human stories behind the statistics".
And we tap into a debate happening in the UK. A member of parliament, David Lammy, has criticised a TV presenter, Stacey Dooley, for a photo of her holding a young boy in Uganda. Mr Lammy said: "The world does not need any more white saviours". We hear views from around the world.
