Indian air strikes target militants in Pakistan
India says it has targeted a training camp in Balakot, Pakistan.
Relations between India and Pakistan have been strained since an attack on Indian troops earlier this month. The Indian government has now said that it has launched air strikes targeting a militant training camp in the town of Balakot, Pakistan. Pakistan has said that its jets forced back the Indian planes and denied there were any casualties.
We also speak to women in Sudan who have been protesting against the embattled President Omar al-Bashir. This comes amid months of protests and unrest.
And in Somalia a 12-year-old girl has been raped in the Puntland state. It's angered locals, some of whom have taken to the streets calling on authorities to take action against those who committed the crime.
