Cardinal Pell guilty of child sexual abuse in Australia

Cardinal George Pell has been found guilty in Australia of sexual offences against children. As Vatican treasurer, he was widely seen as the Catholic Church's third most powerful official. Due to face sentencing hearings from Wednesday, he has lodged an appeal.
