Indonesia is struggling to help all the people affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami. At least 800 people are known to have died, but there remains much wreckage to remove from the epicentre, the main city of Palu on Sulawesi.

Leading scientists are meeting in South Korea to see if global temperatures can be kept from rising by more than 1.5 degrees celsius this century. The world has already passed one degree of warming, because carbon emissions have ballooned since the 1850s.

And how one young man found out he was conceived with the use of a sperm donor -- and that he has nearly 60 half brothers and sisters.
