
Dozens Killed in Indonesian Island Quake
At least 82 people have died after an earthquake in Lombok
At least 82 people are now known to have died after a powerful earthquake hit the Indonesian island of Lombok on Sunday, emergency officials say. Hundreds of people have been wounded by the quake, disaster management officials added.
South Sudan's government has reached a power-sharing agreement with the country's main rebel group. President Salva Kiir and rebel leader Riek Machar signed the deal in neighbouring Sudan.
The United States has re-imposed sanctions on Iran, which will affect the purchase of US dollars, trade in gold, as well as aviation and the car industry. In May, the United States pulled out of a 2015 nuclear deal between world powers and Tehran under which international sanctions were lifted.
