Diesel Emissions Scandal: Ex-VW Boss Charged in US

Former Volkswagen chief executive has been charged in US over the diesel emissions scandal.

The former chief executive of Volkswagen, Martin Winterkorn, has been charged in the United States in relation to the diesel emissions scandal; the Swedish Academy which organises the Nobel Prize for Literature will announce shortly whether it's able to make an award this year; and in Spain, the Basque separatist group ETA has officially ceased to exist.
