Ex-VW Boss Charged Over Diesel Scandal
Former VW chief executive Martin Winterkorn has been charged by US prosecutors in Detroit over the diesel emissions scandal.
The former chief executive of Volkswagen, Martin Winterkorn, has been charged in the United States in relation to the diesel emissions scandal; the families of victims killed by the Spanish separatist group ETA say the group's crimes should not go unpunished; and the organisation which selects the winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature is due to announce later whether it will make an award this year.
