President Trump is welcoming his first African leader to the White House
President Trump is welcoming his first African leader to the White House, more than 15 months after he came to office. Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari is travelling to Washington and is expected to discuss security and trade with President Trump.
The UK’s home secretary Amber Rudd has resigned, saying she "inadvertently misled" MPs over targets for removing illegal immigrants. Ms Rudd, who was due to make a Commons statement on Monday, was under pressure to quit over the Windrush scandal.
Australia has announced a new statue to Captain James Cook who's landing in Botany Bay in 1770 started the colonisation of the country. However, for many of Australia's Aboriginal population, this is not something that should be celebrated.
