
South Africa: ANC 'Decides Zuma Must Go'

South Africa's ruling ANC party will formally request that President Jacob Zuma step down after he refused to resign, media reports say. The reported decision to "recall" Mr Zuma followed marathon talks by senior party officials that continued into the early hours of Tuesday.
Survivors of the deadliest single atrocity of the Liberian civil war are seeking justice in the United States, where one of the alleged killers now lives. Some 600 people, including many children, were shot or hacked to death when Liberian soldiers attacked St Peter's Lutheran Church in Monrovia in 1990.
Ethnic clashes in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo's have forced thousands to flee. Attacks intensified in the past week in Ituri amid fears of a return to massacres witnessed in the area nearly 20 years ago, when tens of thousands were killed.
