South Africa's ruling ANC party will formally request that President Jacob Zuma step down after he refused to resign, media reports say. The reported decision to "recall" Mr Zuma followed marathon talks by senior party officials that continued into the early hours of Tuesday.
The deputy chief executive of British charity Oxfam resigned on Monday over its handling of a prostitution scandal in Haiti involving its staff members and allegations of similar behaviour in Chad.
Survivors of the deadliest single atrocity of the Liberian civil war are seeking justice in the United States, where one of the alleged killers now lives. Some 600 people, including many children, were shot or hacked to death when Liberian soldiers attacked St Peter's Lutheran Church in Monrovia in 1990.
