
71 Killed in Moscow Plane Crashes
The jet vanished minutes after take-off
A Russian airliner has crashed after leaving Moscow's Domodedovo airport, killing all 65 passengers and six crew on board. The jet vanished minutes after take-off and crashed about 80km (50 miles) south-east of Moscow.
An emergency meeting of the ANC is planned in South Africa today, headed by their leader, Cyril Ramaphosa. He has said that the party leadership will ask President Jacob Zuma to step down.
The British government says it is reviewing its work with the aid charity, Oxfam, following reports that Oxfam staff regularly used prostitutes in Haiti in the aftermath of the Twenty Ten earthquake. The department for international development said Oxfam had serious questions to answer about how it dealt with the appalling abuse of vulnerable people.
