Trump's tough talk raises fear the North American Free Trade Agreement might collapse
President Trump has said that if talks to reform the North American Free Trade Agreement (between the US, Canada and Mexico) fail, he could envisage separate bilateral talks.
The US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is to hold an emergency meeting in Los Angeles to consider the film producer Harvey Weinstein's future with the organisation. It said the allegations of sexual assault against Mr Weinstein were repugnant.
The Spanish Prime Minister has given the Catalan authorities five days to clarify whether they intend to push ahead with independence and risk losing their autonomy.
