Denmark native Kölsch is the figure behind critically acclaimed releases on Cologne-based imprint, Kompakt.
With an extensive back catalogue under multiple aliases, Kölsch received great critical acclaim for his ground-breaking LP ‘1977’, an album which brings on us on a nostalgic journey through his outlook on life as a child in Denmark. Kölsch’s knowledge of Deep House and Techno have seen him with a relentless international touring schedule in the past couple of years, having made several appearances in Ibiza and at our capital’s superclub, Fabric.
No stranger to the airwaves, Kölsch has already made a respectable contribution to Pete Tong’s Essential Mix series and received consistent support from Annie Mac, who describes him as “the king when it comes to piano and House music”.
Expect the best in both emotive and anthemic House and Techno with his BBC Radio 1 Residency.
