When Leah lost her job as a magazine editor she turned to an idea that had been nagging at the back of her mind. When Entrepreneurial Spark was launched she took along that idea and turned it into a business.

Now Leah runs appointedd.com, an online booking service for beauty salons across the UK.

The Pitch, the second episode of The Entrepreneurs’ series, follows Leah as she recruits customers whilst trying to raise funds to complete the technical side of her business and properly launch it.

Having reached the finals of a national competition with cash prizes, the question is can she convince the judges that her beauty business is worth a flutter ?
