Meet Tilly Ramsay
Can she cook up something spectacular in the Ballroom?
At just 19 years old, Tilly may be this year's youngest competitor, but she's ready to bring her best to the dancefloor!
My brother said ‘you cannot dance, so I’ll have to prove him wrong!
She's no stranger to a bit of spotlight, having presented her very own CBBC cooking show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch alongside her dad and renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, plus her mum Tana and five siblings. The show ran for five series and was nominated for three Children's BAFTAs, with the success leading Tilly to release her very own cookbook in 2017.
She's also appeared on The Morning, Blue Peter, MasterChef Junior US and MasterChef: Australia, not to mention her huge TikTok following - just a cool nine and a half million people watch Tilly and her family's dances, pranks and cooking adventures!
Having finished her A-Levels in summer 2020 and planning to head to university this autumn, Tilly's using her gap year in the best way possible... by signing up to Strictly! "My family have been very excited," she said. "The same with friends, except my brother who said ‘you cannot dance’, so I’ll have to prove him wrong!"
