Rose Tyler was the fascinating, feisty companion of the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. She could be bursting with the best of humanity, ready to sacrifice herself for the Doctor or stand up to him, when he resolved to destroy a Dalek, for example, that she thought should live. But she could also be jealous, petty and snipey, often because she wanted the Time Lord to herself!

Rose was a shop assistant when she first met the Doctor, living with her mum, Jackie, and spending time with her boyfriend, Mickey Smith. Her travels in the TARDIS broadened her horizons forever but she was eventually stranded in another universe. Luckily for Rose, she had a ‘human version’ of the Tenth Doctor to keep her company.
