Dr Sarah Ellis
Leading Expert in feline behaviour and animal welfare
Dr Sarah Ellis is a Research Fellow at the University of Lincoln and leading expert in feline behaviour and animal welfare. Her current research focuses on developing novel methods of assessing animal emotion, feline communication and understanding the cat-human relationship. She has written numerous research papers and magazine articles on many aspects of feline behaviour and welfare and appeared in the BBC Horizon TV programme ‘The Secret Life of the Cat’ and ‘Little Cat Diaries’. She has two cats, Cosmos and Herbie.
