Chicken Nuggets

Serves 10

Ingredients

  • 5 x 6 oz (170g) boneless chicken breasts
  • 3 eggs
  • 100g flour
  • 500g breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp black pepper

Method

1. Cut the chicken breasts into 6 strips per breast.

2. Season the flour with the black pepper and place on a tray with the beaten egg in another and the breadcrumbs in the third tray.

3. The first dip the chicken pieces into the flour first and dust off the excess before adding to the beaten egg and coating well. Then finely add to the breadcrumbs and roll in the crumbs and place in the fridge until needed.

4. Pre-heat the fryer to 180C and deep fry for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown and cooked

5. Check with a thermometer and serve with the tomato relish.
