Stansted increases drop-off charges
The amount you have to pay for dropping someone off directly outside the terminal at Stansted Airport has increased from £7 to £10, and becomes the joint most expensive airport with London Gatwick. The fee for longer stays of between 15 and 30 minutes has increased to £28.

In a statement, Stansted airport said 'kiss and fly' journeys are the least environmentally friendly, requiring 4 car journeys per flight. It said almost half their passengers use public transport but they're trying to do even better, adding that shuttle buses from the mid stay car park will remain free-to-use.
