The meaning behind the Batchley Bench

The bench features 40,000 tiles all hand-cut and took nine months to complete. Creator Jackie Nash says the colours bring a dose of summer to the community pool all year round.

A number of the mosaic tiles feature encouraging words, inspired by local people.
