How Lovejoy put Norfolk villages on the map
It's 40 years since a charming yet slightly rogue antiques dealer played by Ian McShane appeared on our TV screens.
Lovejoy was originally a series of detective novels by author Jonathan Gash, first published in 1977, and now the much-loved series is going to be remade.
Seventy-one episodes of were broadcast between 1986 and 1994, with scenes filmed across many locations in Norfolk, from Thetford to one of the most famous streets in Norwich.
