Long awaited upgrade on main Belfast to Dublin road on hold due to Stormont climate targets court case. Monica Heaney's son Karl died along the A1 in 2018 when he was hit by a car travelling in the wrong direction near Banbridge. Monica has been campaigning for improvements to the dual carriageway.
