'Exposing silent male struggles' like never before
Award-winning 2Faced Dance infused their new show with the lived experiences of local men, exploring masculinity, mental health and vulnerability in modern Britain.
The dance company were put in touch by the charity Mind with men from Hereford who have lived through poor mental health. They say the performances are built around the expectations of strength, emotion silence, isolation and resilience, showcasing those feelings in a way that can often be hard to articulate.
The show 'Tomorrow' opens on 10 March 2026 in Malvern, before additional performances in Leeds and a tour nationally through summer 2026.
Kalpana Boodhoo reports, with dancers Sam Buswell and Matt Brion, plus artistic director Tamsin Fitzgerald.
