Paralympian Aaron Phipps on judging BBC Award

The BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2026 are open for nominations.

It's our chance to turn the spotlight on those who go above and beyond to help others. 

Southampton Paralympian Aaron Phipps is judging the Young Hero category.

Nominations are open now and close on the 31st March at 5pm.

The winners will be announced at our Make a Difference awards ceremony in September.
