The Shropshire drummer behind the biggest artists

An in-demand drummer has been back in Shropshire to host a special drum clinic.

Ash Soan, a former student at The Grove School in Market Drayton, has built an extraordinary 30 year career as a session drummer.

He's played with Adele, Snow Patrol, Bryan Adams, Taylor Swift, Del Amitri, Faithless, Squeeze, and Robbie Williams to name just a few.

Ash returned to the county to host a special drum clinic for aspiring musicians, following a chance encounter with his former boss at the Salop Music Centre.

He’s been telling Richard Tisdale about his remarkable career so far.
