The ‘fascinating’ Cambridge Viking discovery
Archaeology students from Cambridge have uncovered the remarkable skeleton of a Viking era man, during a training dig just outside the city.
It’s just one of several remains found in a mass grave discovered at the nationally important Iron Age hillfort in Wandlebury.
Louise Hulland has been hearing about the significance of this almost accidental find.
