"I had never seen such horrifying scenes," says doctor treating injured Iranian protesters

An Iranian doctor has been recounting to Weekend the scenes from her clinic during the violent crackdown of protests in the country in early January. The doctor, who is a general practitioner, in a small clinic in a suburb of one of Iran's major cities has been telling Julian Worricker what happened over the course of two nights in January: Thursday, the 8th and Friday, the 9th of January. For her security she is not being named. Her words are spoken by a translator.
