Calls to tackle unsafe gig noise
A leading hearing‑loss charity is calling for new rules to curb unsafe noise levels at live music venues, warning that dangerously loud gigs are leaving both audiences and performers with preventable, long‑term hearing damage. Tinnitus UK says clearer standards, visible ear protection and basic hearing‑health training are urgently needed across the industry.
