NHS volunteer, 95, has no intention of stopping
Betty Miller has volunteered UHCW in Coventry for more than a third of her life and has no plans to stop.
After taking retirement from Rolls Royce in 1990, Betty wanted to stay active and make a contribution to society so joined the volunteering team at Coventry's former Walsgrave Hospital on the welcome desk. When the old hospital was replaced in 2006 by the new University Hospital, Betty stayed and has no plans to stop.
