Racism in the NHS: ‘Emotionally, it destroys you’

Pamela Moyo says she still receives abuse from patients after 14 years as a nurse. Pamela works as a Senior Sister at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital has introduced Operation Cavell which investigates and supports staff who experience assault or hate crime.
