Can something be salvaged from The Raven?
After the historic former hotel went up in flames, the community hopes to take on the building and turn it in to a thriving community facility that can be hired out for events, weddings and conferences.
The Grade II listed site was targeted in a suspected arson attack in August 2025, resulting in the creation of The Raven Heartbeat Group, which is now registered as a Community Interest Company.
That group is in talks with the site's owner over potentially taking it on.
Tom Edwards reports.
The owners of the site have not responded to requests for comment from the BBC at time of publishing.
Wychavon District Council said in a statement they are 'continuing recovery action with the owner for money owed in relation to urgent safety work' that's been carried out at the site.
