'I saved my mum's life by crashing the car'
12-year-old Zac's mum passed out whilst driving on the A40 near Ross-on-Wye. He jumped in to action and managed to bring the care safely to a stop, called 999 and emergency services were on the scene by the time his mum Nicola came round.
The pair tell Alistair Binney how that day unfolded, with West Mercia Police Officers saying how Zac's actions prevented potential fatalities of others around them.
Zac, from Ebbw Vale, has since been awarded a Chief Constable’s Commendation for his bravery.
