Sheffield to benefit from major rail overhaul

The Government has announced a transformation to rail transport in the north. Sheffield will have better connections with other major cities in Yorkshire and the north west and a new mainline station is planned for Rotherham. The first phase will improve connections between Sheffield and Leeds.
