Fans wanted for World Club Challenge relay
As Hull Kingston Rovers prepare to take part in the Rugby League World Club Challenge, BBC Radio Humberside is looking for fans to help launch the event. The match between the Robins and Brisbane Broncos will be played on 19 February 2026 at the MKM Stadium - the home of local rivals Hull FC. The radio station is looking for a number of fans to carry a special ball in a relay from the east of the city to the west, between the two Hull clubs' stadiums. If you want to take part in the BBC Radio Humberside World Club Relay and you are free on Thursday 19th February, email your name, contact details and reason why you should be picked to [email protected]. Nominations close at 7pm on Friday 23rd January. There are more details on our website, where you can also find our privacy notice. Elliot Minchella, captain of Hull Kingston Rovers, has the details.
