'I'd rather lose my independence than risk somebody's life' - older drivers to face regular eye tests
New driving rules mean that over 70s will face eye tests every three years to ensure they're safe to continue driving.
In 2024, Rose MacAndrew died in Newark after an 89-year-old motorist lost control of his car in a supermarket car park. Her daughter-in-law Steph spoke to Summaya about the changes.
