Amber warning for Herefordshire & Worcestershire

Heavy snow associated with Storm Goretti is likely to lead to disruption and dangerous travelling conditions on Thursday 8 January and into Friday 9 January 2026.

Jim Dale is a Senior Meteorological Consultant at British Weather Services and says the storm will arrive from France, which has already seen its share of blustery and blizzard conditions.
