Schools lock away phones for better learning
Schools across Yorkshire in the Heartwood Learning Trust are locking pupils’ phones in pouches to cut distractions. Teachers report calmer classrooms, better focus, and happier students. The move follows government guidance and calls for a national ban, though costs mean not all schools can adopt the scheme. Amy Garcia reports.
