Porch Pirates: Leicestershire is the UK's hotspot for doorstep thefts
Nearly 40% of us shop online at least once a week, but once our deliveries get to the front door, we're increasingly seeing our packages going missing.
Around 1 in 6 households have fallen victim to so-called porch pirates.. and it’s happening across the country. 799 reports of theft were made across Leicestershire in the past year.. with a total value of £37,629.57
Our reporters spoke to Consumer Rights expert Helen Dewdney, and also Zoe Murray who lives in Shelthorpe.
Zoe had a Christmas tree stolen off her doorstep. She’s been telling us what happened and how she reacted.
