Potholes – Leicestershire’s got more money to pour into them
As reflected in the BBC’s Panorama programme, combatting potholes is a constant battle. However Leicestershire County Council says that after years of under-investment it now has a road map for pothole spending that stretches till 2030.. and the budget’s gone up.
BBC Leicester’s Ben Jackson spoke to Ann Caruthers, the Director of Environment and Transport for Leicestershire County Council, and also to David Stanley from 'The Wheel Specialist' in Wigston.
