New 'tourism tax' could be coming to the East Midlands
If you've been a visitor in Europe, you might've noticed a 'tourism tax' being tacked onto your hotel bill.
This practice could now be coming to the East Midlands, after mayors were handed the power to impose the tax on people visiting their regions.
The BBC's political editor Peter Saull spoke to East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward about the idea.
