South Korean horror writer says reality is scarier
With the rise in popularity of South Korean pop culture, South Korean literature is rapidly gaining traction worldwide.
Bora Chung is a bestselling author who was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize for her novel Cursed Bunny in 2022.
She was in London recently to promote her new novel, The Midnight Timetable, a collection of ghost stories set in South Korea. The BBC’s Serin Ha has been speaking to Bora Chung and the book’s English translator, Anton Hur.
