Essex museums given ‘vital’ boost

Museums across Essex are celebrating after being given a share of a twenty million pound fund from the UK government.

The Museum Renewal Fund will help improve public access to their collections, with nearly £240,000 for Chelmsford City Council, almost £40,000 for Southend Museums and just over £126,000 for Colchester City Council.
