Online scams are nothing new, but advances in artificial intelligence mean they're getting more convincing and harder to spot!
In this piece we hear how fraudsters have been using AI-generated images to con shoppers into thinking they were buying from independent "family-run" shops here in the UK.
However, they were getting cheap goods mass-shipped from warehouses in China.
So, how common are AI-based scams? And what are the "red flags" we should be looking out for?
