Social housing tenant loses home after botched house repair

Spokesperson Dave Lockerman, Director of Housing Operations for Stonewater said:

"Initial expert advice indicated the home was safe. However, after listening to Mr Arnison’s concerns, we asked one of our own surveyors to carry out further checks. These confirmed there were issues that needed action.

"We moved quickly to provide Mr Arnison with temporary accommodation and are now working closely with him to secure a permanent home. We are also carefully reviewing this case to understand what we can learn for the future."
