Rise in homeless refugees in Derby
The number of homeless refugees in Derby rose from 16 in 2023 to 161 in 2024. Gillian Scothern's a volunteer at Upbeat Communities and takes refugees into her home. She's been speaking to BBC Radio Derby's Becky Measures.
The city council says refugees can't be prioritised over Derby's most vulnerable residents for social housing.
