'There's a poem out there that can move anyone'
Get to know Staffordshire's first female poet laureate, Emily Galvin-Wilson. The Stokie, who's also lived at Lichfield, brings an incredibly fresh zeal to the written and spoken word.
She tells Lizzie Crow about how her passion for writing saw her become the youngest ever at the time, to hold the role, and how her tenure saw her creating a beer in Lichfield and her own spoken word nights in Hanley, Wordcraft.
Emily, who's travelled all over the country performing, also reflects on how she handles life as a poet and breaking through writer's block, especially as it's only been a few months since she became a new mum.
