Would Lioness Grace Clinton give up social media?

Lionesses Keira Walsh and Grace Clinton caught up with Rachel Burden on 5 Live Breakfast to speak about their social media use.

Midfielder Keira Walsh said she doesn’t have social media because “sometimes it’s not a nice place to be”.

“As a footballer, people seem to think they can comment on every aspect of your life and for me it’s very bizarre that people think that’s acceptable,” she adds.

Grace Clinton, who’s 22, said she’d consider “getting rid” of all her social media, especially during tournament periods.

“You’re going to be around a lot of people and very tired and the last thing you need is to be in an environment on your phone which at times, can be toxic,” she says.
