The UK is almost in the middle of OECD countries in terms of our tax burden. Denmark is at the top - it has one of the highest tax rates in the world. It's also consistently rated as one of the happiest countries in the world.

The Chancellor will be trying to make her sums add up for the Spending Review in June and a leaked memo shows the Deputy PM Angela Rayner thinks she will raise taxes.
