Sainsbury's in Ashbourne is being investigated by the police's rural crime team after local people reported it was carrying out hedge cutting while birds were nesting there. Sainsbury’s says its "committed to being a responsible retailer" and says "a process is in place to ensure no wildlife is disrupted." BBC Radio Derby's Sian Filcher has this report.
