How radio saved my maize crop
Oliver Mukampaila, a maize farmer in Monze, Zambia, is celebrating a successful harvest.
Despite the terrible drought, he was confident in his crop because of the weather and climate change advice he heard on the radio.
Farmers, like Oliver, can access accurate, solutions-focused weather and climate information on the radio thanks to BBC Media Action - the BBC’s international charity - providing training to local radio broadcasters and journalists.
